Jack Adams
Hello Rulex Community, is there a way to import multiple files with a single import task? Want to know more?
Mike Harris
Hi @Jack Adams welcome! Don't worry, it's not rocket science Open an import task (such as Import from Text File) and select the Advanced section, here you will just have drag and drop all the files that you want to import. Well, that's it sir, cheers 1 1 Want to know more?
Jack Adams
Hi @Mike Harris, thank you for your help, I used to import files simply by dragging them on the Rulex screen and I had never noticed you could do this in the advanced section, this will be really useful. 1 Want to know more? Enrico
Hi @Jack Adams, another way you can import multiple files at the same time is to use wildcards in file selection, take as an example a folder containing: Open the import task -> Options -> Insert the name of your file (e.g. Book) followed by a * Doing so you will import all files that start with "Book" in the folder that you selected.Best,Enrico 1 2 Want to know more?
