Rulex installation on Windows with user having non latin alphabet letters

Hi all,

I'd like to report a problem which occurs when installing Rulex on Windows with a user having some special non latin alphabet letters. Example:

• User name: Victoria Draškić - it was impossible to install Rulex properly. It was impossible to start it standard way after installation. It got up only when running as administrator. But even when it was run as administrator, after getting up, it was then impossible to upload licence & to start the program anyway.
• User name: Victoria Draskic - after surname change (Windows user name), Rulex installation in the same sytem/laptop went normal. Nothing else was changed, except the user name.

I see a gap here. Is it a known issue in Rulex for 4? Should I report it to some specific person/department in Rulex?

Hi Andrzej,

we have already installed Rulex 4 on computers with Chinese characters, so it seems strange that the problem is related to the username, with a Chinese computer the problem was the keyboard encoding.
Anyway, thanks for sharing, we will investigate trying to reproduce the situation
